Tamil Eelam Announces 22-Man Squad for CONIFA Asia Cup 2025
Twenty-two players selected to defend the Asian crown in London, 1-4 July 2025.
Tamil Eelam named a 22-man squad for the CONIFA Asia Cup 2025, hosted in London — the heart of the diaspora — from 1-4 July.
The group blends the core of the side that lifted the trophy in Lisbon in 2023 with new talent drawn from diaspora clubs across Europe and North America — selected to handle the weight of expectation that comes with defending a title in front of a vast travelling support.
The task
As hosts and holders, every opponent raises their game against Tamil Eelam. The squad's job was simple to state and hard to do: win the group, then win the final. They delivered both.
