Tamil Eelam Announces 22-Man Squad for CONIFA Asia Cup 2025 – Ready to Make History!

 

01/07/2025 – The Tamil Eelam Football Association has officially revealed its 22 man squad for the CONIFA Asia Cup 2025 marking another milestone in the team’s journey as one of the most passionate diaspora sides in international football. The tournament, organised by the Confederation of Independent Football Associations (CONIFA), will see Tamil Eelam compete against other unrecognised nations and regions around Asia.

 

A Blend of Experience and Youth

Head coach Ragesh has selected a balanced squad featuring players from across the Tamil diaspora, including talents from Canada, the UK, and Europe. The team, known for its relentless spirit, will aim to replicate their previous performances and retain the cup.

 

Head Coach Ragesh expressed optimism:

“We may not have the resources of FIFA teams, but we have heart, discipline, and the support of millions of Tamils worldwide. This squad is ready to fight every challenge.”
